Dear dreamer,

Have you ever realised the dreams you once held have gotten buried under societal demands? That the life you’re living doesn’t live up to the life you know you deserve?

I did.

After wading through sludge for the better part of a decade, grieving the loss of my mother, encountering relationships that taught me much about myself but nothing about love, I stared myself square in the face and asked myself why love kept evading me.

Little did I know, the answers were just waiting for me to ask.

Loss fractured me over and over again and I studied the breaks like the rebuild depended on it. I learnt how to find magic in repair and eventually found method in the madness.

Instead of cursing the universe for the abundance of loss, I became the support that I needed and more. I went from being the girl who’s childhood memories were hiding in a trapdoor of her psyche, to a woman making her childhood dreams a reality with the boldness and confidence to build them. (Something I never thought I’d have) The rebirth was painful, messy and eventually liberating.

Every dreamer deserves this.
Every visionary can claim it.
Loss is not your legacy.
